Blender and Baker is a delightful at-home bakery, based in Fayetteville, NC, run by a mother-daughter team, dedicated to creating delectable cakes, cupcakes, pies, and more. Every recipe is infused with our passion for baking, ensuring that each treat is made with love and care. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, or any special occasion, we aim to deliver the perfect sweet treat. Plus, we can help plan those memorable events, making sure everything is just right.

The Blender

Rosetta Thompson

Rosetta Thompson is a seasoned Professional Cake Decorator and Certified Floral Designer with nearly 40 years of experience. As a successful storefront owner in the early 2000s, she built a thriving wedding industry business. With over 2,500 wedding cakes and countless other occasion cakes to her name, Rosetta’s artistry and expertise are unmatched.

The Baker

Kayla Thompson

Kayla Thompson is a highly sought-after pâtissière, continuing the legacy of her mother with a passion for baking and cake design. Her passion for baking and decoration shines through in every creation, transforming traditional cake flavors into extraordinary experiences. Perfection is rare, but you’ll find it in every one of Kayla’s delicacies!

EVENT PLANNING

😞 Yesterday was the last day we had our desserts at the Sweet Factory Fayetteville.
Being able to vend out of the Sweet Factory was a wonderful opportunity that snuck up and blessed us in September 2024!
Because of this, we were able to expand our business and introduce ourselves to the Fayetteville community this past year!

🩷We are forever grateful to the Sweet Factory and owner Kanitra Blount for giving us this opportunity to grow Blender & Baker!
🍬As we make our way on our journey, we will remind ourselves to "Stay Sweet" in every endeavour.

Last week, we made multiple Underwater themed cakes for the birthdays of a client's two toddlers.
This is the second of 2, each paired with a smash cake, which were layers of yellow, chocolate, and yellow cake dyed pink, for a vanilla, chocolate, strawberry look! ☺️All coated in our delicious buttercream icing!
The client requested this design, similar but different for each child, and we made it come to life!

I’ve had the pleasure not only sampling and buying slices of cake, but they actually made me too delicious cakes for some of my events. The cakes were so delicious and moist. I barely got a slice.. kudos to you too. I love it.

New to the area and came across Blender & Baker on Facebook. Booking process was very simple and they were very responsive and the cake turned out better than the inspo pic I sent! It was beautiful, moist, and delicious! Will definitely be booking again in the near future!!

We had the chocolate peanut butter cake and it was absolutely amazing. The cake was super moist and the peanut butter wasn’t overpowering at all. Loved every bite!
